The world's most exciting football league was formed in 1992 after a breakaway enticed by Sky TV millions, becoming England's premiere class of the game. The country's top 20 teams do battle in a competition that has been dominated by Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City over the years. Liverpool and Tottenham have recently emerged as title contenders, while Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City have both also come out on top in years gone by.
