Cadence is engaging phase 1 by enabling AI Chips, and phase 2 which drive design automation. 3DIC is natural extension of Moore's law. Optimistic about power, as new Innovation along the way will bend the straight line projection usually seen in the early inning of technology like AI. Real value realization will mostly be vertical based, not the horizontal LLM. AI will move from infrastructure AI, physical AI(automotive, robotics) to the horizon 3, that is likely AI biggest apps such as AI for science, particularly life science Sandra Rivera : AI impact is multi facets. First it is a TAM expansion for FPGA, which is needed as co-accelerator. AI is also embedded in placement tool and in even in basic fabrics, which will be making FPGA better. Power is the single Largest limiter for AI deployment. Also, Should AI be better regulated than what happened in social media, leading to the data security and privacy. Tien Wu : AI has driven ASE to increase capex to 4B This year from 2B last year due to systematic complexity, not just technology but the more players in ecosystem, which breaks the traditional pricing. AI has made us seeing the first time that Hardware is the bottleneck in term of improvement and return in profit. US has the data and economic scale to deploy AI across all sectors in term of efficiency improvement, given US also has been a highly "wasteful" nation.

𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗱, 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Charming, brilliant, and hilarious—Huggy Hayagreeva Rao had the Sand Technologies team glued to our seats during our most recent company-wide "Thursday Late Discussion" session. Huggy is the co-author of "Scaling Up Excellence" and a professor of Organizational Behaviour at Stanford University. So when he speaks, we're all ears. One of the key takeaways that really struck a chord with us was Huggy's perspective on scaling excellence. He described it as "multiplying curiosity with generosity." Huggy pointed out that as companies grow, they often fall into the trap of "addition bias" and "time poverty." We just can't help but pile on more and more, until we're so overwhelmed that our curiosity and generosity take a backseat. Next thing you know, we're just going through the motions, feeling depleted, and lacking that sense of accountability. But the truth is that scaling isn't just about addition. In fact, sometimes it's about smart subtraction. We need to identify and remove the obstacles that stifle our team's ability to be curious and generous. When people are in that mindset, magic happens, problems get solved, everyone brings their A-game, and we all go home feeling energized rather than drained. Also, subtraction is like mowing the lawn: it's not a one-and-done deal—you've got to keep at it regularly. It's not just about efficiency, but about giving our team the gift of time, which inspires them to reciprocate with their best efforts. We have been on a massive scaling journey over the last three years. Our operations have grown from one site to 30 sites and the number of engineers we are developing has grown by 5,000X (which if my math is correct is about 500,000%). We are just getting started, so we’re always curious about what we need to do as an organization to maintain our scale, and not lose quality, dynamism, agility, and our innovative spirit. The team is already lobbying for Huggy to host our TLD every week 😄—a testament to how insightful, thought-provoking, and relatable his lessons are. We have homework, though; time to put these ideas to work and start scaling up excellence.

I asked 3 industry leaders - here's what they told me. 📈 Partnership strategies are quietly transforming In our latest podcast, Neeti Gupta, CEO of AI Partnership Consultancy and alum of Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta, unpacked this shift: "Partner playbooks are changing... one-on-one partnerships are happening. Then there'll be the democratization of the tools where basically, what I call the AI to API wave is going to happen…. and then finally the agent phase where the automation will happen." 🎯 Meanwhile, many try to apply AI to GTM on a tactical level: "From an ISV perspective, I see a lot of trial and error in the go-to-market side of it. And that includes building intelligent bots or assistants that will improve maybe the response from an introduction through a co-sell program at one of the hyperscalers," explained Jonathan Kingsepp, Cloud GTM Mentor and Advisor at Partner Insight. 📊 Data and customer value drive AI partnerships AI is a game-changer, but not a magic bullet. I sat down this weekend to reflect on my experience and #learnings in #leadership. When I first joined HexaHealth, a passionate startup with a big mission to transform #surgery care in #India, my goals were clear: achieve product-market fit, drive user growth, and build a high-performing team – all while staying true to our core value of putting patients first. I feel proud to have achieved success on all three fronts. But it hasn't been smooth sailing and it has been a mix of a few successes and many failures (Pareto principle played its role).
