Yesterday was an incredible day on my entrepreneurial journey. For one, we announced our AI Course for Educators. We also officially launched the most innovative AI tool for educators in the district and the city where it all started. Brooklyn! Seven years ago almost to the day, LINC launched with our first 10 partner schools in Brooklyn North HS district with Janice Ross and Karen Watts. Our focus was supporting educator mindset and building pedagogical skills toward student-centered learning leveraging technology - just as it remains today. We are launching Yourwai alongside our AI Course because we are deeply committed to educators having the AI tools AND the understanding of how to leverage AI to truly transform learning. It was only right to bring Yourwai back to Brooklyn North to officially unveil the future the learning. If that wasn’t cool enough, part of our launch was an integration of Yourwai with BH365 , a Black History curriculum, to demonstrate how Yourwai can support curriculum deployment with fidelity. We are now developing AI instructional tools aligned to BH365 including project-based service learning projects that Brooklyn students will be implementing. Woah! We are serious about the game-changing potential of tech when combined with thoughtful implementation. We are especially proud of this moment as a certified MBE of NYCPS. We’re just beginning to scratch the surface of what is possible with AI in learning. Congrats Jason Green!!!! Check our work in the Alchemist Club Studios . We have been pushing this AI initiative using a hands-on Inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning way before these Large Language Models: Bard, Chat GPT, MS Pilot, Google Bard/Gemini.....etc. Since you are approaching this from a pedagogical perspective, we can discuss the possibilities. We are running a working model via the NYCDOE G-Suite Enterprise-Google Classroom.
