Pokemon Go players have had enough of the “biggest scams” in the Shop and are calling for change from Niantic.

Being a free-to-play game, it’s natural for Pokemon Go to have some micro-transactions. In this case, those are present in the game’s Shop, which supplies players with Pokeballs, Bundles, Research tickets, and so much more.

However, with the Pokemon Go Shop being such a key part of the experience, many fans are looking at some of the “biggest scams” they’ve seen – and several players are calling for some major changes to be made by Niantic in the future.

Pokemon Go fans think this is the “biggest scam” in the Shop

Taking to Reddit, one Pokemon Go user asked: “What’s the biggest scam to ever be in the shop?”

Along with the question, they attacked a screenshot of both the 100 Pokeballs and 20 Pokeballs price, which comes in at roughly $6.99 and $0.99. Clearly, the price of Pokeballs is the poster’s main gripe.

Other fans were quick to reveal their similar frustrations, explaining how “It should be 100 balls for 100 coins at the very least smh. You can spin a few stops or open like 5 gifts to get 20.”

One user echoed the Pokeballs “scam” by commenting: “Biggest scam are 100 Pokecoins for 99 cent and 550 for 5,99.”

While many thought the Pokeballs were the worst feature, one player highlighted that they think “the whole shop is a scam, every item there has a floating price that changes on a whim or for no reason at all. I never bought anything unless I had enough coins for it from the gyms, and usually, that was storage upgrades.”

“Everything in the store is a scam and the box bundles are ridiculously overpriced” added one user, revealing just how frustrated the community is with the Shop’s prices.

Thankfully, you can grab Pokecoins without needing to spend money, and it’s not too tough to get hold of Pokeballs, but it’s still extremely frustrating to see prices being much higher than fans would like.
