Less than two weeks before Samsung's July 10 Unpacked event, purported images of two new foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, have leaked.

As reported by 9to5Google, leaker Evan Blass posted rendered images on social media and on his Substack newsletter late Thursday. More images were posted on the website WinFuture showing additional colors of the two new devices expected to be announced at Unpacked, which will take place in Paris.

Judging by the new images, the Fold 6 appears to be available in pink, dark navy blue and silver, while the Flip 6 is shown in silver, green, light blue and yellow.

Updates to the Flip 6 are expected to be minor, at least design-wise, but the phone is likely to include a new processor to match the Galaxy S flagship, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, though there may be multiple variants. The Flip 6 could also feature a larger battery and upgraded camera.

As for the Fold 6, it could sport a larger cover screen and a design that's closer to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It may also be released with a variant version, but may not receive a camera upgrade.

So far, Samsung has dominated the foldable-phone market, but it's now competing with Google's Pixel Fold, the OnePlus Open and the Motorola Razr. The company has hinted that both new phones will get new artificial intelligence features.
