Crocs and Post Malone Giving Away 5,000 Clogs on Five Continents

On the heels of collaborations with Latin hitmaker Bad Bunny and pop icon Justin Bieber, Crocs has a new drop with longtime creative muse and chart-topper Post Malone.

The pair’s fifth collaboration—a follow-up to the last year’s black-and-blue ‘tactical’ kicks—will debut Tuesday.

The Post Malone x Crocs Duet Max Clog II will come in two colorways—pink and black—and feature an “exaggerated,” chunky outsole, pivotable backstraps with adjustable hook and loop closures, Post Malone-branded rivets and lanyard clips.

Post Malone and Crocs have also teamed up on a PostyCo Pink 3 Pack and PostyCo Black 3 Pack of Jibbitz charms to accompany the new debut. Available for purchase separately, the Jibbitz packs include grapes, a heart, a rubber duck and representations of Malone’s infamous tattoos.

Crocs said it will commemorate its fifth—and biggest—Post Malone collaboration by “safely surprising” 5,000 fans throughout the day with the limited-edition footwear. This will include giveaways in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Salt Lake City, Toronto, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Paris and Berlin, Crocs said.

“Giving away 5,000 pairs of shoes is how I’m saying ‘thank you’ to my fans,” Malone said in a statement. “Each time Crocs and I partner, we make something better than before and I’m excited about what we came up with this time around. Drop 5 is going to be one my fans remember.”

The limited-edition Post Malone x Crocs Duet Max Clog II will release globally Tuesday for $59.99 across select Crocs and partner retail and e-commerce channels. The PostyCo Pink 3 Pack and PostyCo Black 3 Pack of Jibbitz charms will be available separately for $11.99.

Crocs’ latest Post Malone collaboration arrives as the casual footwear company continues to flourish despite the pandemic. The clog maker reported a 15.7 percent increase in third-quarter revenue and a 73.5 percent leap in net income compared to the prior-year period. It has capitalized on the momentum of being named one of  2020’s must-have items by adding Afterpay’s buy now, pay later feature in brick-and-mortar stores, a move that is likely to court budget-conscious young consumers.
