New version of SynergyXR improves safety and efficiency of VR training
With the launch of version 2.8 of its XR software, SynergyXR offers advanced tools that could transform technical training in the industrial, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Announced on May 7, the update includes a new measurement tool for accurate planning, expanded large AR rooms of up to 500+ square meters, and interactive processes for enhanced learning. New key features include two-object interaction for realistic training simulations and significant improvements in operational efficiency, safety and space utilization.
Painting VR developer receives funding for more creative freedom
Belgium-based VR game studio Oisoi Studio has received €450,000 in funding for its VR art tools. The studio, known for Painting VR — a virtual painting studio with innovative tools and many creative possibilities — has achieved considerable success with revenues of over $1.1 million and more than 72,000 copies sold worldwide. The round was led by ForsVC and angel investors Thomas and Emmanuel Dewitte. The investment allows Oisoi to improve Painting VR and develop new immersive experiences.
Immersed remote VR desktop launches on Apple Vision Pro tomorrow
Immersed founder Renji Bijoy shared with me that the company's popular remote VR desktop app is releasing on Apple's Vision Pro tomorrow. Immersed supports up to five virtual screens and can connect to your Windows PC and Linux computer, as well as a Mac.
Immersed is also available on the Meta Quest 3, Quest 2, Quest Pro, HTC Vive Focus 3, and Pico 4. You can use Immersed for free with up to three screens or subscribe to unlock more displays and extra features.
