Yet, this bullish momentum proved to be fleeting. By the end of March, it had dissipated. Furthermore, this led to another sharp decline in APE's price as the bullish forces waned and bearish sentiments retook the market.
 

As April progressed, significant bearish momentum was once again observed, pushing APE below the $1.11 level. However, at the time of writing, APE had slightly recovered, trading at $1.17. 
 

This recent downturn could be attributed to a consistent decline in sales volume in the non-fungible tokens (NFT) sector since early March. Notably, collections such as CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), CryptoKitties, and Milady were impacted.

• The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and signal lines predominantly remained below the neutral line throughout the analysis. After going on a downward trajectory and remaining below the signal line, the MACD line surpassed the signal line by September.
• The MACD line continued above the signal line until mid-April, after which it fell below the signal line again. During March, the MACD line momentarily went past the neutral line but couldn’t sustain it and fell through immediately. 
• At press time, the MACD line stood at -0.113, the signal line at -0.064, and the negative histogram value was -0.050. This indicated that strong bearish momentum was persistent within the market.
• Although the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) began its journey above the neutral line, it dropped below this line by June and continued its journey until October.
• By mid-October, the indicator rose again, and by February, it had reached its highest value at 0.22. However, the CMF dipped below the neutral line in April due to the downtrend. Additionally, it stood at -0.03 during press time, indicating that there was an outflow of money from the asset.
